Unincorporated Pasco County. The county requires a permit for tree removal in unincorporated areas, with exemptions. Its residential tree removal requirements include limits for parcels that do not yet have a primary structure, so it is worth calling the county before clearing a vacant lot.
What the county asks for. Applications include a site plan or survey showing where the trees sit relative to the parcel, and photos. The county lists an average review time of three to four business days for complete applications.
