Land Clearing · Tampa Bay
Land clearing in Tampa and across Tampa Bay
Overgrown lot, vacant acreage, or a parcel you are getting ready to build on or sell? We clear brush, small trees and undergrowth down to workable ground, haul it off, and can grade the cleared area, all with our own equipment and one crew.
What we clear
We clear residential lots, infill parcels and small acreage across Hillsborough, Pasco, Pinellas, Hernando, Manatee, Polk and Sarasota counties. Typical jobs include:
- Overgrown vacant lots that need to be brought back to usable, maintainable ground
- Brush, vines, small trees and undergrowth on a parcel that is headed for construction
- Lots being cleaned up before a sale, a listing or an inspection
- Fence lines, driveways and access paths that have grown over

How a clearing job works
- Tell us about the lot. Send the address and what you want done by phone or email. Photos help.
- Site visit and estimate. We walk the property with you, then follow up with an estimate.
- Clear and haul. We clear the vegetation, pile it and load it out with our own truck and dump trailer.
- Grade if needed. If the lot needs to be leveled afterward, the same crew does it, so nothing has to be re-scheduled with someone else.
What affects the price
Every lot is different, which is why we quote after seeing the property. The main factors are:
- The size of the area to be cleared
- How dense the growth is, and how many trees there are and how large
- How easily equipment can get in and out
- How much material has to be hauled off, and how far
- Whether grading is included afterward
- Anything to work around: fences, septic systems, wells, utilities
Permits and rules to check first
Tree and vegetation rules differ by city and county, and they can be stricter near wetlands, for protected or heritage trees, and inside HOAs. In unincorporated Hillsborough County, for example, clearing residential land generally requires a Land Alteration and Landscaping permit before work starts, and Tampa, Plant City and Temple Terrace have their own rules (county tree resources). Hauling off more than 10,000 cubic yards of earth adds a land excavation permit.
Rules change, so check with your city or county, and your HOA if you have one, before clearing starts, and bring up permits when you ask for your estimate. We summarize what each county says, with links to the official pages, here: Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, Hernando, Manatee.
Is your job a fit?
We work with a compact track loader, which suits residential lots, infill parcels and small acreage. If you have a large wooded tract that needs heavy forestry mulching, a dedicated mulching machine is the better tool, and we will tell you if that is what your job needs.
Where we work
We clear lots in Hillsborough County (Tampa, Brandon, Riverview, Plant City, Temple Terrace, Lutz), Pasco County (Land O’ Lakes, Wesley Chapel, Zephyrhills, New Port Richey), Pinellas County (St. Petersburg, Clearwater, Largo), Hernando County (Brooksville, Spring Hill, Weeki Wachee), and Manatee County (Bradenton, Parrish, Palmetto), plus Polk and Sarasota counties. Not sure if you are in range? Call and ask.
